The Giving Tree

This book is about a tree and a boy. The tree loves the boy unconditionally. The tree gives the boy things throughout his until one day she thought she had nothing left to give. But in the end she gave the boy exactly what he needed and everyone was happy. This is a great book to teach children about loving, caring, and giving. I would use this book around Thanksgiving and ask the students what they are thankful for.
